Treasurer of a Lodge of Masons

 

The Treasurer of a Lodge is an Elected Officer who is usually elected at the December Stated Meeting of a Lodge of Masons. The Treasurer of a Lodge is in charge of keeping accurate records of the monies held by the Lodge, except for monies held by the Trustees of the Lodge.  His term of Office is for one Masonic Year but he is usually reelected over and over again.   He will usually take office on December 27 at Noon

In many Lodges the Treasurer of a Lodge is paid.  The Treasurer is unpaid in Wilmington Lodge No. 804
