Albert Pike 

Albert Pike was born in Boston Mass on 29 December 1809 and died on 02 April 1891.

Many people who hate Freemasonry misquote Albert Pike in their attempt to demonize the Craft.  If they do not simply misquote him they often try to make his comments pertain to Freemasonry even when they were not meant by him to have anything to do with Masonry.  Oh well, it gives these people something to do with their time.

Pike attended Harvard College but withdrew for lack of finances.

Pike became a Lawyer in 1836.

Pike became a Mason in 1850 and is said to have received degrees 4-29 on 20 March 1853 from Albert G. Mackey.

Pike served with the CSA during the War of Northern Aggression.
