Elements, Original Four

Originally there were Four Original Elements that were considered.  At that point in History science had a long way to go. Of course advancements in Science were in the past, and still are in the present, often hindered by religious beliefs.  In the past some Scientific discoveries were punished by imprisonment, torture or death by the leaders of a Church. Throughout history various religions have quite often opposed advances in science by condemning it and by killing the students of science.

The Four Original Elements are:

    1) Earth 

    2) Air 

    3) Fire (Represented by the Fire Triangle)

    4) Water (Represented by the Water Triangle)

We now know that there are 92 natural elements plus a number of man-made elements.
