Frank S. Land

He was the founder of the Order of DeMolay in 1919.
He was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1890 and then moved with his family to St. Louis. He belonged to the Fountain Park Congregational Church Sunday School. He moved back to Kansas City when he was 12 years old. He attended the Kansas City Art Institute while he worked in in his aunts restaurant.
He became a Mason on 29 June 1912 in Ivanhoe Lodge No. 446 in Kansas City, Missouri.
He became concerned about young men who had lost their fathers during The Great War, now known as WW1.
The idea for the Order of DeMolay formed in March 1919.
Frank S. Land died on 08 November 1959.
