Freemasons, like our late brother Benjamin Franklin, are seekers of useful knowledge and enlightenment. The following links are earnestly recommended to your consideration. They will lead you to additional knowledge about Lowther Manor Lodge, the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania and Freemasonry throughout the United States and the world. |
THE GRAND LODGE OF PENNSYLVANIA The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania has a truly outstanding website. Be sure to take the virtual tour of the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia. The “Masonic Education” tab is also worthwhile, especially the 100 Masonic Questions and Answers. The “Links” tab connects to just about every worthwhile Masonic site. |
Virginia is an A.F.& A.M. jurisdiction. The difference is explained in the Lowther Manor Lodge “Antients vs. Moderns” page. The Virginia “Cyber Library” is a great resource. Moreover Virginia is close enough that you can visit the many historic Masonic locations that can be found within the borders of this Commonwealth. |
PENNSYLVANIA PRINCE HALL MASONRY Have you wondered about Prince Hall Masonry? This link will take you to the web page of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge F. & A.M. in Pennsylvania. |
UNITED GRAND LODGES of ENGLAND Freemasonry in the United States has its foundation in English, Irish and Scottish Masonry. This site has outstanding contents and links. |
Check this link to learn about the amazing Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA. Many of our brethren reside there or plan to do so in the future. Don’t forget the open house in September. |
This site contains an encyclopedic glossary of terms used throughout Freemasonry. Note that not all these terms and uses are in the tradition of Pennsylvania Masonry - so be advised! |
