Brethren, I trust everyone had an enjoyable holiday. As I follow on this year as Worshipful Master after Brother Theodore Evans, P.M., I would like to thank him and all of the officers of Prince Edwin – Spring Creek Lodge for all their support in 2012. In the coming year I will have three points of focus. 1 – Promote and cultivate increased degree certifications (From about 6 degree certifications to 12 certifications) 2 – Promote and cultivate increased quality memberships (From 6 initiates to 12 initiates) 3 – Higher fraternal relations. In keeping with these points of focus, if you have not been at Lodge in a while and need to brush up on the Masonic basics, or if you want to work on more advanced Masonic degree work, starting in March, the Prince Edwin – Spring Creek Lodge officers will be at the Lodge every 1st Monday of the month. They will be happy to run through whatever you need. On the 2nd Monday of each month, the Lodge will be hosting a “Brethren Night” at a local establishment. Please feel free to bring prospective members. The first of these will be held February 11th at 8:00 p.m. at Guido McNeal’s in Middletown. Wings will be served and beverages are available for purchase. Additionally, there are televised hockey and basketball games scheduled. Finally, a selective invitation initiative is underway and will be further explained as more details become available.
