Brethren take notice,

December  2015

                 Message From The East

Dear Brethren

As our Masonic Year of 2015 comes to a close, so does my year as your Worshipful Master. Just 1 year ago as I approached the East to be installed, I was filled with such pride in our  Lodge, such plans and dreams to keep the drive going forward as my predecessors before me have done, and great awe in the faith and trust you have given me as I was ready to take the reins of leadership.

It has been a year of building Masonic bonds and fellowship I will never forget, from the chicken bar-b-cues, the chip programs, bringing new members into the craft and accompanying Brother Wendell to Western Wayne High School Class Night to present 2 deserving seniors with Masonic Scholarships.

It has been a year of many great meetings, our local first responders came out with a demonstration, and the Camo Robotics Team came out with a great demonstration of their  machines and the tasks they could perform.

I couldn’t have asked for a better Official Visitation Meeting with Brother Wendell, the Lodge was full of brethren from the district as well as so many of our own members who always come out and support the Lodge.

Our Past Masters night proved to be a great success again this year as well as did our Senior Wardens Night, I stood with pride knowing that our Past Masters will always be there to guide and assist with the growth of the Lodge. As the Senior Wardens Night progressed, I watched as Brother Joey Johannes guided our Lodge with the knowledge and skill of a man who shares the hopes and dreams of keeping the forward momentum at full steam ahead.

I can never forget to thank all the members for their continuing support in the making, passing and raising new of members into the folds of this great and wonderful Fraternity. In June 2008, on a sweltering night, I was having my Master Masons degree conferred upon me and the power went out, with no lights, fans or air conditioning  the members found candles and flashlights and never skipped a beat, even to confer the degree of a Fellowcraft Mason on Brother Joey Johannes following me. It has never failed to impress me with the dedication and ritualistic perfection that Waymart Lodge has in administering all three degrees,  again I thank all of the members.

I can not close my final message without giving special thanks to both Laurel Chapter #67, O.E.S and to Rainbow Girls Assembly, Aurora Chapter #187 for their continuing support with our Lodge. the delicious dinners which you have provided, standing shoulder to shoulder with you performing community events and performing our charity work makes us proud that you are our wives, our daughters and our friends, Thank You girls.
