Waymart Lodge # 542

Brethren take notice,

September  2015

                 Message From The East

Dear Brethren

Summer has left us with many fond memories, as we enjoyed some well-deserved time with our families and friends.  As we enjoyed our summer Waymart Lodge has been very busy with our annual charity raffle and summer chicken barbeque. Now it’s time to look ahead to fall and begin closure to our yearly charity functions.

September will bring on a chips program September 15th at the R.D. Wilson School, Waymart from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. We are Looking forward to your help with the CHIPS team, if you have never helped with this, come out and have some fun, its a great time and good to see Brethren from other Lodges working together.

Our one day class this fall will be held at Hamlin Lodge #330 on September 26th. Registration will begin at 8:00am. Its important to the success of our district that we have a lot of brethren come out, either to mentor, guide or be on the degree teams, we can always use you and it helps with bringing more good men into the Craft.

Also the GDS fair we are looking for volunteers to sell tickets. The fair begins August 25th and ends September 4th. This Raffle helps insure our sustainability in the community. It makes sure we can help out where and when needed so its important that we get volunteers. If you can help at all please call Bro. Joey Johannes at (570) 470-3103. Please don’t wait for him to call you, step up and do the thing that makes Waymart Proud.

Also were asking that raffle tickets be returned by October 1st so we can keep ahead of this fund raiser and make sure that all raffle tickets are sold.

In closing I would like to thank all brethren who came out and helped out in our fund raising and lodge events. I hope you continue to come out and support the Waymart Lodge.
