Message From The East
Dear Brethren,
I thank all of you that came to the meetings in
January. Not only did we have good attendance and visitors at the Stated
Meeting, but also at the Extra Meetings. Again, thank you for the support.
February is going to be another busy month, with 2
extra meetings and a Chicken Bar-be-cue on the 12th. The Ladies from
the Laurel Chapter #69 Order of the Eastern Star are giving us and our guests an
Appreciation Dinner at 6:00 PM on Tuesday February 7, 2012 at the Lodge Hall,
preceding our Stated Meeting.
Brother Ben will be presenting the program, at the
meeting, on the York Rite in Freemasonry.
I’m hoping to have one presented on the Scottish
Rite in Freemasonry later in the year.
As always Brethren, promote our Fraternity
publicly. As our Grand Masters have said, a random act of kindness goes a long
way.

Dear Brethren;
If you have not paid your dues, they are now late and you are not in good standing in the Lodge.
You are in danger of forfeiting your membership and all rights of the Lodge, including attending Stated and Extra Meetings, and all rights that the Grand Lodge affords us, including participation of Masonic Homes. Please see that your dues are paid in time to attend the January Stated and Extra Meetings.
If you are having difficulty paying or any other problems, contact myself or Dan Barnett, W.M. to make arrangements.

The Historical Preservation Committee is pleased to announce that the Waymart Lodge Historical books are ready and may be purchased at the Stated Meeting of December 7 at a cost of $15.00. They are a great reference book and stuffed full of information dating back to 1876. Contact Wendell Hunt at 488-5269 to receive your copy if you cannot make it to the meeting.
